Thefactoaffectingmigrationincludelinguisticfactoincludingnonlinguisticfactoincludinganemotionalfactor。AccordingtoStephenKrashenthesuccessoflanguageleaingcannotbeexplainedbythefactoroflanguageinputalone。Oneexplanationforleaedifferencesisthedifferenceintheamountofcompreheiblelanguageinputreceivedbyleae。Theotheristhattheleaeemotioareatwork。Itincludesleaingpurposeleaingmotivationselfconfidenceanxietyandsoon。StephenKrashencallsittheaffectivefilterfactor。(Krashen1983)
